Cymien Hughes, the Dallas, Texas based singer, songwriter, musician and producer is breaking out of the conventional gospel music box.  Born to Apostle Willie F. and Dr. James Etta Hughes, she is no novice to the music industry.  Cym began playing drums at age 5 and wrote her first song at age 13. She is known to many for her eclectic and captivating abilities to write and arrange songs, sing, play the B3 organ, piano, drums, and bass guitar. “Cym” is considered a musical prodigy. She has shared the stage with many great people in the industry such as Twinkie Clark, Kirk Franklin, Donald Lawrence, Dorothy Norwood, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Kierra Sheard, Kim Burrell, and many others.
